Established in 1969, the company carries our four main types of work: Land Surveys, Civil Engineering Surveys, Measured Building Surveys and Setting Out.

One-man robotic theodolites are used, supplemented by conventional total stations and GPS. Recent contracts include the ground of Buckingham Palace for the Queen's Jubilee Celebrations, the Mary Rose, the launch of the Queen Mary 2 and setting out for the opening ceremonies in the Olympic Stadium in Athens for the 2004 Olympic Games. Other clients include small local organisations through to government departments, to international companies such as BP. Our existing customers recommend their own contacts to LDS, and as a result we have built a client base of loyal, satisfied organisations. We are still working for the first company we ever worked for back in 1969.
