Job Description

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing and energetic team working in an important role supporting the continued success of the business.

Based in the South East of England, the successful applicant will be responsible for developing new sales opportunities for Topcon with the full range of Geopositioning products. This is a challenging role that requires the successful candidate to create new business opportunities with surveyors, groundworks companies and civil engineers.

Core Job Responsibilities

  • Generate and develop sales opportunities within the assigned Territory to achieve an individual sales target.
  • Work with Distribution Management to assign newly generated business.
  • Maintain Salesforce CRM with proactive management of sales prospects through the sales process.
  • Liaise with Topcon support colleagues to manage the training, operational and support needs of your customers.
  • Record and report sales activity and provide sales forecasts to Sales Manager.
  • Represent Topcon at key industry events and seminars.
  • Reporting of market intelligence to colleagues in GB & Europe (competitor news, industry news etc).

Position Accountability & Scope

  • Developing a territory sales plan to achieve revenue and key performance targets.
  • Responsible for ensuring Distribution Management team are informed of new business opportunities for Topcon Distribution partners.
  • Manage and maintain customer records on Salesforce CRM for your sales territory.
  • Support the marketing team with sales campaigns and event attendance.
