Glanville Consultants are based in Hertfordshire and Oxfordshire and deliver high quality 3D spatial data for clients throughout the UK. Established over 40 years ago, Glanville has a distinguished client base and enviable reputation for providing innovative technical solutions using the latest equipment and software.

We are now looking to recruit an ambitious and motivated recently qualified Geomatics Surveyor to join our expanding teams at our Hemel Hempstead and Didcot Offices.

The team is committed to providing the best possible service to our clients and offer an extensive range of survey types and utilise a wide array of current instrumentation and software including terrestrial/ handheld laser scanners, UAV’s, robotic/non-robotic total stations and GNSS.

There is a good balance of varied site and office work and the team typically undertakes the following tasks:

  • 3D Laser Scanning (terrestrial and handheld)
  • Topographic and measured building surveys (floor plans, elevations and sections)
  • Photogrammetry/ rectified imagery
  • 2D and 3D CAD drawings
  • Revit modelling
  • 3D visualisation
  • Liaison with architects, engineers and developers
  • Manage projects from field to finish
  • Mentoring of trainees

Relevant Skills & Experience

  • Recent graduate or similar relevant qualification
  • Computer literate
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Have a flexible approach with attention to detail
  • Ability to work amicably as part of a team
  • Willingness to travel
  • An ability to professionally represent the company
  • Driving license (desirable but not essential if working towards one)

Remuneration and Training

The company will provide a competitive salary, a contribution towards a personal pension scheme (up to 5% of salary) and professional membership fees, which are paid for one organization.
