<p>We require professional, ambitious, and self-motivated individuals to join our team as we continue to grow our service offering.&nbsp;Malcolm Hughes is one of the leading survey companies in the UK. We operate from offices around the UK and offer our clients genuine nationwide coverage.&nbsp;Suitable candidates should have at least 2-3 years’ experience working as a utility surveyor with a strong understanding of the PAS128 specification.&nbsp;</p>



<p><strong>In addition, the following attributes are required:</strong></p>



<p>• Working knowledge and able to demonstrate correct use of EML and GPR equipment and accessories in line with PAS128.</p>



<p>• Strong understanding of land survey theory and the ability to use Total stations and GNSS receivers for pickup of utility marks.</p>



<p>• Capable/Proficient in data processing, interpretation, and presentation of survey results (using AutoCAD or other)</p>



<p>• Proficient in the creation of written survey reports, permits to dig, manhole and inspection chamber record cards in accordance with PAS128.</p>



<p>• Experience of working with high density array GPR equipment such as Mala Mira/Stream DP.</p>



<p>• Experience in taking projects from ‘field to finish’ liaising with clients on requirements/specification and providing professional advice.</p>



<p>• Experience of post processing GPR data/and or CCTV surveys is desirable although not essential.</p>



<p>• Effective communication skills.</p>



<p>• Able to work well and contribute as part of a team.&nbsp;</p>



<p>• Ability to use your initiative, problem solve and work to deadlines.</p>



<p>• Good time keeping.</p>



<p>• Flexibility to work away from home for periods and accommodate various shift patterns when required (such as night shift etc).</p>



<p>• A committed attitude and eagerness to learn in a fast-paced industry.</p>



<p>• A full UK driving licence.</p>

<p><strong>Salary will be commensurate with experience. In addition, we would offer:</strong></p>



<p>• Industry specific training &#8211; NVQ, CSCS, NRSWA, First Aid and advanced GPR training</p>
