Business Development Executive

Job Description

Job Brief

As a Business Development Executive at KOREC, you will play a key role in shaping our inbound lead generation strategy in alignment with our digital marketing efforts. Your focus will be directly engaging with the market to uncover and secure new business opportunities for KOREC.

Location: Remote or Office-Based (UK)

Key Responsibilities

• Research and identify potential customers, creating prospect lists based on defined personas.

• Engage directly with prospects through cold calling and social media outreach.

• Qualify all inbound survey and mapping leads before passing them to the sales team.

• Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with current and prospective clients.

• Qualify prospects to generate potential deals for the sales team.

• Collaborate closely with the marketing and sales teams to communicate campaigns to potential customers.

• Actively engage within the industry through social selling and networking.

• Increase awareness of the KOREC brand and our product portfolio.

• Maintain accurate records of all activities and prospective leads using our CRM system.

• Monitor the survey and mapping sales pipelines, supporting the sales team as needed.

• Embrace challenges and perform other duties as required.

• Adhere to Health and Safety processes to protect the interests of the business, employees, and customers.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

• Activity KPIs:

  •  Telephone prospecting
  •  Social media engagement (posts and connections)
  •  Lead generation

• Sales KPIs:

  •  Commission on sales generated from leads you directly source

Key Skills & Experience

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar sales-focused role

• Comfortable using LinkedIn for professional networking and content posting

• Proficient in using Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems

• Outgoing, confident, and people-oriented

• Strong organizational and time-management skills

• Enjoys engaging directly with prospective customers over the phone

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel

• A mindset focused on continuous improvement

Desirable Skills

• A clean, valid UK driving license

• Interest in new technology

• Experience using a contact data service (e.g., Cognism)
