<p>We are seeking a Utility Surveyor to support the delivery of underground utility surveys across a range of infrastructure and development projects.</p>



<p>You will be responsible for carrying out utility surveys both independently and as part of a team, delivering accurate and reliable data in line with PAS 128 standards.</p>



<p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p>



<ul class="wp-block-list">
<li>Delivering utility surveys using GPR, EM and GNSS equipment</li>



<li>Delivering PAS 128-compliant data from field capture through to processing</li>



<li>Working on projects ranging from small commissions to multi-site programmes</li>

<p><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><strong>ABOUT US AND THE OPPORTUNITY</strong></span></p>
<p>A fantastic opportunity has arisen in a niche surveying company with an immediate start for the right candidate. Archidata is a small but specialist Land &amp; building surveying company in West Sussex primarily providing data for architects in the form of plans, sections, elevations and topographical land surveys. Deliverables range from basic 2D AutoCAD plans to complex three-dimensional BIM models all drawn up with an architectural flair which sets Archidata out from the crowd in terms of quality surveying products for the construction industry.</p>
<p>Not only do we work closely with many regular architects across the south of England but we also work with a number of landscape and garden designers, public schools, developers and of course the general public. We find that our work is generally in the south of England but also work has taken us as far north as Glasgow, West to the Caribbean, and Southeast to The Netherlands and every day brings exciting new challenges. Probably our most exciting project to date was the setting out and construction of “The green and pleasant land” set in London’s 2012 Olympic opening ceremony.</p>
<p>As you would expect from a quality surveying company, we also provide setting out, monitoring, area surveys, land registry compliant plans, volume calculations, boundary disputes, verified view photos and CAD services We have invested heavily in the latest hand-held 3-dimensional laser scanning equipment together with GNSS GPS and total station theodolite technology not to mention the computer hard and software required to process this complex data.</p>
<p><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><strong>YOU &amp; YOUR MAIN DUTIES</strong></span></p>
<ul>
<li>The ideal applicant would have 2-3 years’ experience of producing topographical and measured building surveys, however, more junior and trainee roles are available.</li>
<li>You would be hard working, committed, able to work on your own as well as in a team.</li>
<li>You would ideally be able to hit the ground running &amp; start immediately with a proven track record in<br />
surveying</li>
<li>You would ideally be able to demonstrate experience in the use of a wide range of Trimble &amp; GeoSlam<br />
survey instrumentation, along with the post processing skills required to produce detailed final 2D and<br />
3D surveys</li>
<li>You would be expected to speak &amp; write excellent English and have strong communication skills (both<br />
written and verbal) and an interpersonal style that enables you to flourish in a direct client facing role</li>
<li>Excellent time &amp; motion management skills.</li>
<li>Have exceptional planning and organising skills with strong attention to detail and the ability to<br />
prioritise effectively and manage multiple demands.</li>
<li>To be a people person and to eventually (if not already) have leadership skills needed to train and bring<br />
on more junior surveyors up through the ranks of the company.</li>
<li>Work well on your own and within a small team and be able to offer support to others when required</li>
<li>Be able to work independently and make sensible judgements and decisions.</li>
<li>You will ideally be chartered or working towards a charter from a relevant institution RICS, CIOB, RIBA<br />
etc…</li>
<li>You would ideally hold a relevant construction qualification</li>
<li>Willing to put in extra hours when required to achieve deadlines.</li>
<li>Be prepared to travel to sites mainly within the South of England staying over on occasions</li>

<p>Formby Surveys are looking for a Utility Surveyor (based in Liverpool) to join our team.&nbsp; We are hiring and are looking for a candidate with a minimum of 2-3 years’ experience to join our team as a Utility Surveyor.&nbsp; A Utility Surveyor at FSL has a position of responsibility and as such should conduct themselves in accordance with this position and understand the separation between staff, management and directors.&nbsp; The candidate should be able to demonstrate adequate utility surveying skills covering EML and GPR knowledge together with the ability to post-process GPR &amp; utility data. The successful candidate should also possess the ability to work individually, as well as part of a team, with an emphasis on quality and attention to detail.</p>



<p>A proven track record in this field will need to be demonstrated in the following:</p>

<li>EML &amp; GPR experience (CCTV experience also a benefit).</li>



<li>Knowledge of PAS128 standard.</li>

<p>Formby Surveys are we’re looking for a Geomatics Surveyor (based in Liverpool) to join our team.&nbsp; We are seeking a candidate to join our team who can demonstrate key skills as a Geomatics Surveyor capable of undertaking 3D laser scanning, measured building surveys &amp; topographical surveys.</p>



<p>What you’ll be doing:</p>



<ul class="wp-block-list">
<li>Undertaking survey projects and the organisation of the data associated with these tasks.  A Geomatics Surveyor at FSL has a position of responsibility and as such should conduct themselves in accordance with this position and understand the separation between staff, management and directors.</li>



<li>In a technical capacity, undertake complex geomatics tasks across a variety of different measured survey requirements.</li>



<li>Maintain a day-to-day diary of activities in a supplied software application.</li>



<li>Record and relate any relevant issues to the relevant Director during the monthly Survey Meetings.</li>



<li>Attend regular Operational Meetings to provide feedback and suggestions for the operational side of the business.</li>



<li>Collaborate with all our internal survey departments.</li>
</ul>



<p>Required skillsets:</p>

<li>A proven track record in the Geomatics industry, in particular in the fields of topographical mapping and measured building surveys and a broad technical knowledge of activities undertaken in the measurement and property development professions.</li>

<p><strong>ROLE SPECIFCATION:</strong></p>



<p>You will be responsible for supporting Technical and Project Managers in the delivery of Geospatial and CAD data outputs to agreed deadlines and quality standards, ensuring all project workflows and quality assurance procedures are consistently applied. Acting as Quality Assurance Lead, you will monitor compliance, identify non-conformances, implement corrective actions, and ensure timely resolution of issues. The role also involves collaboratively planning and scheduling team resources, allocating tasks based on competency to ensure efficient project delivery on time and within budget.</p>



<p><strong>KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:</strong></p>



<p>• Work closely with the Project &amp; Technical Managers to clarify project specifications and client requirements, ensuring the Geospatial/CAD team is briefed accordingly.</p>



<p>• Maintain effective communication with team members and managers to identify risks and constraints quickly, developing mitigations / solutions to project workflows.</p>



<p><strong>• </strong>Identify &amp; resolve equipment &amp; software faults promptly, coordinating with the geospatial team to minimise risk to delivery.</p>



<p>• Report project delivery risks and delays to the Project Managers, taking a direct approach to resolving.</p>



<p><strong>• </strong>Collaborate with Project Managers and Technical Managers, scheduling resources against project standards and requirements to meet required deadlines.</p>



<p>• Ensure sub-contractors are assessed for competency and capacity to deliver in line with project requirements and deadlines.</p>



<p>• Actively contribute to project de-briefs by capturing delivery lessons learned, identifying opportunities for improvement and encouraging constructive feedback.</p>



<p>• Support Project Managers and Technical Managers as and when required.</p>

<p>Edwards Diving Services are seeking to recruit a full time Land Surveyor for an immediate start to join our growing team and work on a diverse range of projects. Your role will be flexible, dynamically providing in-house survey services to support our in-house survey team. Predominantly within the Welsh catchment. The right candidate will be able to take initiative and progress working to our purpose everyday: engineering solutions in challenging locations.</p>
<p>EDS invests in its staff, and you will be supported and encouraged to undertake CPD and further qualifications relevant to the role as it develops further in the Geospatial environment. An active input into innovation and future processes will be welcome including any discussion about personal future career development and qualification outside of in-house training.</p>
<p>The role will be based from our South Wales Head Office, near Cardiff.</p>
<p><strong>Key responsibilities:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Undertaking land / topographic surveys, using a variety of specialist equipment and technology</li>
<li>Use a range of equipment to produce surveys</li>
<li>Analyse information thoroughly before it is handed over</li>
<li>The ability to process the site data an advantage (desirable but not essential)</li>
<li>Check equipment is correct and in calibration for all site activities</li>
<li>Use equipment in the correct manner and keep it clean and functional before returning to stores</li>
<li>Produce site records and specified output/deliverables as required</li>
