The Role:
We are currently recruiting Assistant and Trainee Land and Measured Building Surveyors.

We offer the opportunity to work on a wide variety of land and measured building surveying projects including topographical surveys using the latest technology such as total stations, GPS and 3D scanners.

We would like to hear from enthusiastic candidates who have little experience in this the surveying or construction industry but are willing to learn and develop a career in this profession. For candidates with the right potential we are prepared to sponsor them for a government apprenticship scheme in conjunction with the University of East London.

Key Responsibilities & Competencies.

Assist with:

  • Topographical surveys using Leica TS15 and 16 robotic total stations
  • Topographic surveys using Leica CS10 GNSS receivers (GPS)
  • Measured Building Surveys using conventional methods and Leica RTC360 laser scanners
  • Processing surveys in AppsInCADD n4ce, Cyclone Register, AutoCAD and Revitt
  • Setting-out by co-ordinates using Leica TS15 and 16 robotic total stations
  • Successful candidates will receive internal and external training in thee above competences.

Skills & Experience:

  • Previous experience working as a land and/or Measured Building Surveyor is not required
    but would be useful. Equally, experience with the software packages used is not required
    but would be useful.
  • Ability to communicate confidently and clearly (written and verbal) is essential
    Punctuality and reliability is crucial as is the ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines
  • A professional manner (dress and behaviour on site) with good client facing skills are

In addition:

The right to work in the UK is essential
A full UK driving licence would be useful
