Due to continued growth, we are looking for an experienced GPR Processor/CAD Technician to join our team based at one of our regional offices to suit. This permanent position offers the opportunity to work on a variety of different projects carried out throughout the country by our 5 regional offices.

Term: Full, part-time, or flexible hours upon negotiation.


Purpose of job: To conduct GPR interpretations and provide AutoCAD support to the Geophysics department where needed


Location: Havant, Hampshire / Upton Upon Severn, Worcestershire / St Austell, Cornwall / Barnet, North London to suit candidate.


General functions

  • Process, analyse and interpret GPR data for a variety of applications, including but not limited to utilities (including PAS 128), voids and obstructions
  • Produce AutoCAD plans of the interpreted data
  • Provide AutoCAD support for other GPR and geophysics applications
  • Occasional field work when required




The ideal candidate would have:

  • Good IT skills, knowledge of Microsoft packages including Outlook and Excel
  • Experience of AutoCAD
  • Experience of GIS
  • Experience of processing and interpreting GPR data
  • Knowledge of GPR data collection and interpretation using specialist software package including Radan, RSlicer and GPR Slice
  • Knowledge of the survey industry
  • Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Team player with the ability to work on own initiative and to deadlines.
  • Reliable and trustworthy person able to deal with confidential information.


Note that while the desirable skills would be advantageous training will be given
