We currently have an exciting opportunity for an aspiring underground utility mapping surveyor to develop within our multi-disciplined team. It is not essential to hold any previous experience, however a basic understanding of geospatial positioning, familiarity with utility mapping sensors (GPR/EML) and GIS/CAD systems would be beneficial. LandScope operates a comprehensive in-house training programme supplemented with specialised external training aimed at facilitating a rapid progression in core underground mapping competence and full understanding of the PAS-128 specification. Further support is offered should you wish to apply for membership of a professional body, such as RICS or CICES.
The role involves travel around the UK (vehicle provided) to undertake project fieldwork and will on occasion require an overnight stay. Adequate time will be afforded to processing of field data, preparation of project deliverables and equipment maintenance when working from the office.
In addition to career development in underground utility mapping, you will gain experience in other survey disciplines such as hydrographic survey, laser scanning, mobile mapping, and mobile 3D-Radar.
If you feel that you have a positive, go-getting attitude, enjoy working as part of a team and value the opportunity to work with modern survey equipment and software, then please send a copy of your CV and cover letter to the email address provided.
