Role Overview

As a Monitoring Sales Consultant, you will play a pivotal role in maximizing the sales of Trimble’s Geospatial solutions within the UK Construction and Infrastructure industries. Collaborating with KOREC industry specialists and receiving support from our Monitoring Application Engineers, you will report to the Business Area Manager, contributing to sales growth within the industry segment. Our approach is collaborative and consultative, focusing on building lasting relationships with customers to enhance their effectiveness.

The role includes representing KOREC at industry events, trade shows, and technical presentation days, involving overnight stays and travel.

Location: England and Wales (Nationwide Travel Required)

Key Responsibilities

• Generate monthly sales to meet revenue and gross margin targets.

• Develop and execute a territory sales plan.

• Identify, nurture, and close new sales opportunities within the rail industry.

• Present the benefits of Trimble geospatial equipment and KOREC software to potential users.

• Balance managing the existing customer base with proactive prospecting.

• Maintain accurate recording of activity using our CRM system for forecasting and reporting.

• Participate in key industry events, trade shows, and technical presentation days.

• Other duties as required.

• Comply with Health and Safety processes to safeguard the interests of the business, employees, and customers.

Requirements

• Experience in sales within a Monitoring/Construction/Infrastructure-related field.

• Highly motivated, enthusiastic, and a team player.

• Excellent verbal communication skills.

• Tenacious, resilient, and a desire to exceed targets.

• Ambitious, driven, enthusiastic, articulate, and personable.

• Highly organized, disciplined, and professional.

• Full driving license.

Desirable

• Familiarity with Trimble Survey Instruments.

• Experience in a technical sales environment within the Monitoring/Construction/Infrastructure industry.
