We are seeking a resourceful, practical, and highly self-motivated person to join our growing Mobile Mapping Surveyor/Support Analyst team.  The Support Analyst will assist with the capture and post-processing of data collected with the latest start of the art mobile mapping solutions.  You will have excellent IT skills with superb attention to detail.  A flexible approach would be required as travel throughout the UK can be expected with occasional overseas projects. This role provides an opportunity to develop a range of skills with access to the latest technology in a quickly developing industry.

Main Duties:

  • Acquire and process geo-referenced spatial data using Trimble Land Mobile Mapping Systems
  • Assist with all stages of mobile mapping projects from pre-planning to final data delivery
  • Coordinate with both customers and partners to ensure smooth delivery of mobile mapping projects
  • Occasional customer facing demonstrations
  • Travel throughout the UK with occasional overnight stays

Requirements:

  • Degree in GIS/Surveying or related field
  • Strong computer skills
  • Flexible
  • Driving license

Desirables:

  • Knowledge of mobile mapping
  • Familiarity with Trimble technology
  • Survey  experience
  • Basic programming
