The role

RPS are searching for a Senior Land Surveyor who is looking to grow and progress into a managerial position. The role will initially involve managing the whole life cycle of the survey from managing the client enquiries, completing the survey and finally to completion and delivery of the survey drawing, as well as the planning and execution of large projects and managing timescales. Were keen to speak to dynamic, ambitious senior surveyors with 5-10 years post qualified experience in all land surveying capabilities.

Key Responsibilities include; 

In this role you will establish and develop key client relationships to maximise existing and future, opportunities to meet our short and medium-term growth objectives. You will work closely with internal and external stakeholders to profile our capability and experience, to support new and repeat business opportunities. In addition to this, you will meet all the requirements outlined in the RPS HSE policy and management systems and ensure that health and safety is at the forefront of all you do. You will be an avid problem solver, with the ability to plan and execute large projects across a number of survey teams.

Your skills and experience: 

  • Effective communication skills and a consultative approach
  • A relevant technical degree/HND in surveying or related discipline
  • Competent in the use of Trimble/Trimble Business Centre and Realworks, Total stations, GPS and laser scanners
  • AutoCAD and SCC surveying software producing 2D and 3D models
  • Strong working knowledge of MS office word, excel, outlook and PowerPoint
  • Experience gained in a similar role
