Do you have relevant technical knowledge within the land and/or utility surveying industry, proven business development experience, and the leadership skills to recruit, manage and empower a growing team of surveyors? If so, we would like to hear from you.

An exciting new opportunity has arisen within 40Seven to run our Sevenoaks office, developing our current client relationships, whilst also actively developing the Southern team. We have over 20 years’ experience in Land and Utility Surveying and pride ourselves on providing high quality, accurate surveys to our customers across a variety of industries, including transport, construction, building and property.

If you would relish the opportunity to lead the Southern team, develop relationships with current and new clients to increase revenue, and develop the skills of our Project Managers and Surveyors in order to achieve operational efficiency and increase profit, then this could be the role for you.

As the successful candidate you will be responsible for:

  • Building and executing an annual strategic business plan for the Sevenoaks office
  • Forecasting and cost control
  • Creating and maintaining close relationships with key customers
  • Working closely with the Project Managers to deliver operational requirements
  • Recruiting and developing the surveying team
  • It is essential that you can meet these experience qualifications through:
  • Proven business development experience leading to increased revenue with new customers or in new markets
  • Demonstrated experience of recruiting and building strong teams
  • Experience of managing and overseeing operations of a surveying team
  • A full UK driving licence

It would be great, but not essential if you held a relevant H&S qualification such as IOSH.  This role is based in Sevenoaks, but you will be expected to visit any one of our sites regularly, and also our Head Office in Leeds.
