Geomatics Surveyor
Job Description
Formby Surveys are we’re looking for a Geomatics Surveyor (based in Liverpool) to join our team. We are seeking a candidate to join our team who can demonstrate key skills as a Geomatics Surveyor capable of undertaking 3D laser scanning, measured building surveys & topographical surveys.
What you’ll be doing:
- Undertaking survey projects and the organisation of the data associated with these tasks. A Geomatics Surveyor at FSL has a position of responsibility and as such should conduct themselves in accordance with this position and understand the separation between staff, management and directors.
- In a technical capacity, undertake complex geomatics tasks across a variety of different measured survey requirements.
- Maintain a day-to-day diary of activities in a supplied software application.
- Record and relate any relevant issues to the relevant Director during the monthly Survey Meetings.
- Attend regular Operational Meetings to provide feedback and suggestions for the operational side of the business.
- Collaborate with all our internal survey departments.
Required skillsets:
- A proven track record in the Geomatics industry, in particular in the fields of topographical mapping and measured building surveys and a broad technical knowledge of activities undertaken in the measurement and property development professions.
- A detailed knowledge of those IT systems deployed, including hardware and software.
- The ability to demonstrate and encourage team working and building relationships both internally amongst staff and externally with clients.
- A commitment to, and an ability to, create a team based working culture, spanning the “pool” of resources in a number of personalities and skills.
- Time management skills with an emphasis on delivery.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Flexible approach to working hours.
