Job Description

ROLE SPECIFICATION:
Joining the Aviation & Built Environment Team, you will work on projects across multiple sectors and supporting clients with a wide range of geospatial services. You will take a leadership role on large and complex projects, with a focus on data capture providing inspirational coaching and mentoring to team members.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead site teams undertaking topographic and measured building surveys of multistorey buildings utilizing a range of technologies.
  • Install control networks suitable for a range of purposes.
  • Setting out.
  • Processing of data captured on site to produce accurate data sets for production of deliverables.
  • Be familiar with how measured building and topographic survey drawings and models are developed from survey data (experience of doing this desirable)
  • Undertake robust quality assurance.
  • Understand the required techniques to deliver a range of accuracies.
  • Lead communication with the on-site team and external stakeholders.
  • Foster a collaborative environment within site teams.
  • Solve problems independently.
  • Take full ownership of data collection and processing activities across multiple teams on major projects, ensuring timely delivery to specification.
  • Promote a safety first culture, ensuring works are safe at all times.
  • Lead site activities and support the development of staff through training and mentoring.
  • Desire to develop self and support wider team development.
  • Maintain high level of professionalism with team members & clients.

PERSON SPECIFICATION:

  • Experience undertaking topographic and measured building surveys of multistorey buildings
    utilising a range of technologies
  • Experience installing control networks
  • Setting out experience
  • Experience processing a range of survey data to produce accurate data sets for production of deliverables
  • Familiarity with how measured building and topographic survey drawings and models are developed from survey data (experience of doing this desirable)
  • Experience in undertaking robust quality assurance
  • Understanding of the required techniques to deliver a range of accuracies
  • Proactive communication with colleagues and other stakeholders
  • Collaborative approach to projects / team player
  • Ability to solve problems independently
  • Ability to take full ownership of allocated tasks, ensuring timely completion in line with specification
  • Robust approach to health and safety
