Geospatial Analyst
Job Description
ROLE SPECIFICATION:
Responsible for creating CAD drawings and deliverables that are fit for purpose and meet client specification and required standards set by project owner.
The ideal candidate will have experience with GIS software and CAD programmes, with a strong understanding of data management. This position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to innovative projects within a dynamic environment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Create CAD drawing to industry standards.
- Ensure all CAD checks have been completed in accordance with company quality assurance
standards & client requirements. - Seek clarification when needed from project lead regarding specification or client
requirements. - Maintain good communications with Team Members & Project Managers to ensure
problems are resolved & ensure lean workflows are maintained. - Be adaptable and able to change priorities to meet current deadlines.
- Take ownership of problems as they occur, seeking advice when unsure.
- Be willing to learn and adapt to new workflows and software.
- Identify & report equipment & software faults promptly through project managers & IT
Support channels. - Keep regular work progress communication and ensure full understanding of work
requirements, seeking support when needed. - Meet agreed deadlines for completion of assigned work, escalating issues and potential
timeline delays. - ·Receive & understands project feedback, taking appropriate notes on how to actively
improve work standards. - Assist in training & further development of Junior Geospatial Analysts.
- Ensure provided QA forms are filled & up to date.
- Support marketing department with marketing content.
- Complete timesheets and daily reports accurately and in a timely manner.

PERSON SPECIFICATION:
- Proficiency in AutoCAD for mapping, analysis, and drafting tasks
- Experience in land surveying techniques and principles
- Strong knowledge of CAD software for technical drawings and site plans
- Expertise in data management including database creation, updating, and quality control
- Familiarity with construction processes and project workflows
- Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and survey data accurately
- Effective communication skills to collaborate across multidisciplinary teams
