Junior Geospatial Analyst

Job Description


To support our team in creating, managing, and analysing spatial data that drives insight across a range of projects. This is an excellent opportunity for someone wanting a career in this field or someone who is early in their geospatial career with great attention to detail, and a desire to develop professionally in a supportive environment. Full training will be given on the job.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Create CAD drawing to industry standards.
  • Ensure all CAD checks have been completed in accordance with company quality assurance
    standards.
  • Be adaptable and able to change priorities to meet dynamic deadlines.
  • Be willing to learn and adapt to new workflows and software.
  • Report equipment & software faults promptly to appropriate manager.
  • Keep regular work progress communication and ensure full understanding of work
    requirements, seeking support when needed.
  • Meet agreed deadlines for completion of assigned work, escalating issues and potential
    timeline delays.
  • Participate in training within the office when required ensuring task book is kept up to
    dated.
  • Take responsibility for own development activities and strive to improve CAD standards.


OTHER ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Being fully aware of and actively complying with Munnelly Group’s policies and procedures
    relevant to your own responsibilities.
  • Maintain a positive and proactive attitude always respecting fellow Team Members.
  • Keep equipment and your work area clean and tidy as far as reasonably possible.
  • Performing any other reasonable duties as directed by line management.
  • Initiating continuous improvement in your own areas of responsibility and feedback on own performance, in one to ones and PDR’s.

PERSON SPECIFICATION:

  • Strong attention to detail and comfort working with large datasets.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and general data handling.
  • Clear communication skills and the ability to present findings effectively.
  • Collaborative and comfortable working within multidisciplinary teams.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a willingness to take initiative.
  • Well-organised, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
  • Eager to develop themselves
