Site Engineer
Job Description
Ridgeway Surveys Ltd are Land Surveyors and Site Engineers.
We are looking to recruit an experienced Site Engineer to join our team based on sites primarily in and around London and the Home Counties.
Essential Requirements:
- Carry out engineering surveys to a high standard
- Experienced with setting out, site control, grid lines and datums
- Proficient at processing and calculating surveys
- Good working knowledge of AutoCAD
- CSCS card holder
- UK Driving Licence
Skills & Experience:
- Consistently deliver high quality work on time and in budget
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a wider team
- Confident and clear communicator – both written and verbal
- Professional manner with excellent client facing skills
Experience with any of the following instruments/software would also be beneficial:
- Leica total stations
- Magnet software
A degree or HND/HNC qualification or equivalent in surveying or a survey-related discipline is usually required, but we also welcome applications from candidates with little or no surveying or construction industry experience to join us at a more junior level. We would also be pleased to hear from Graduates with a relevant degree, who are looking to start a career in Site Engineering.
