Trainee Utility Surveyor

Due to continued growth, we are seeking a Trainee Utility Surveyor to join our experienced team.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in carrying out underground utility surveys using Electromagnetic Location (EML) and Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR)
- Work with top-of-the-range survey equipment, such as total stations and GPS
- Support senior surveyors in data collection and site work
- Learn to interpret utility records, plans, and survey data
- Help in producing CAD drawings and survey reports in line with industry standards
- Ensure adherence to health & safety protocols on site
- Maintain survey equipment and tools
What We’re Looking For:
- 5 GCSE’s Grade A-C / 9-5 (or equivalent) including Maths & English. (Required)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Interest in surveying, construction, civil engineering, or geospatial work
- Full UK driving licence (preferred)
- Able to perform job duties that require working outdoors in a variety of weather conditions
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- CSCS card (preferred, but training can be provided)
- Flexibility to work overnight/stay away, with opportunities to travel nationally and internationally.
- Ability to problem solve and adapt to change
