Salary: 26,000 – £28,000 (dependent upon experience) plus company van or car

An exciting new opportunity has arisen within 40Seven for a Land Surveyor covering our Southern region. We have over 20 years’ experience in all types of survey work, and pride ourselves on providing good quality, accurate surveys to our customers across a variety of industries, including transport, construction, building and property. This role is key to delivering the quality and accuracy we are renowned for.

Our successful candidate will be responsible for implementing work instructions, carrying out surveys, post-processing work, and assisting in the resolution of any issues.

To be successful in this role, it is essential that you:

  • have the ability to install and process control networks
  • have the ability to map underground utilities
  • have experience of working on a wide variety of different land surveying projects (such as buy city centres, sub stations, airports, water treatment sites)
  • have the ability and confidence to act as the appointed ‘Lead Surveyor’ on small – medium surveys

Other desirable skills and experience include:

  • The ability to use SCC for processing
  • A good knowledge of MBS and elevation surveys
  • A good knowledge of Auto CAD
  • The ability to collect laser scan data on site

This role is based in at our office in Sevenoaks, Kent but will cover work throughout the Southern region, with occasional work further afield.  You will be required to travel regularly and there will be a need for some overnight stays.  Applications are welcomed from suitably experienced candidates based within the M25 or within a 30-minute drive of the M25.
