Are you a TOPOGRAPHICAL LAND SURVEYOR looking to build on your existing knowledge, progress your career, develop your skills along with the growth of the business?

This is a terrific opportunity for a Land Surveyor to join a forward-thinking start-up firm, one of the fastest growing multi-disciplinary surveying practices in the UK, providing high-quality land, building, utility and engineering surveys for a variety of clients throughout the UK and expanding quickly to match the demand of customer needs.


LOCATION: Based from the offices in Ashby De La Zouch, near Leicester.  You may be searching for Land Surveying / Building Surveying jobs in Swadlincote, Leicester, Derby, Nottingham, Ibstock, Coalville, Burton Upon Trent, Birmingham or Loughborough with a full UK driving licence.

SALARY:  £25K – £30K plus benefits, bonuses, overtime opportunities, pension, ample free parking, flexible approach to working hours, company vehicle/ mileage for site visits, ongoing training, career progression.

HOURS:  40 hrs pw. Flexitime.

As a Land Surveyor, you will be travelling to various sites across Leicester, working as part of a small, friendly, dynamic team of surveyors.  This will be an exciting and varied role for Surveyors (Land), conducting Topographical Surveys, producing 3D CAD & BIM models and drawings.

You may have a professional Degree/HND/HNC qualification in Surveying / a RICS accredited subject or perhaps a work placement in a Professional Surveying environment.

You will be looking for the next step up the ladder in either a Topographical Land Surveying or Measured Building Surveying career. Their range of services cover all aspects of surveying including Topographic Surveys, Building Information Modelling, 3D Laser Scanning, Utility Mapping, Measured Building Surveys.

You will be hands on with the latest surveying equipment; BIM applications & GIS.  Therefore, you will need to be IT Literate, numerate and have a strong attention to detail, you may already have an understanding of survey equipment, possibly in LSS software, 2D/3D AutoCAD, GPS, 3D Laser Scanners, Leica Total Stations or similar.  You will need good organisational and time management skills to enjoy this career.
