We have uploaded three new documents to the ‘Guidance Notes’ download section of the website:

This Client Guide was written to help professionals understand what accuracies are achievable from modern aerial photogrammetric systems and what should be included in a photogrammetric aerial survey requirement specification.

The guide covers digital camera systems and post processing techniques, the typical outputs, applications and accuracies that can be expected from these surveys and the factors that could also affect the survey. It goes on to discuss the essential information that a client should consider when commissioning a photogrammetric aerial survey.

TSA Client Guide on Satellite Imagery Surveys.

This Client Guide was written to help professionals understand what an Satellite Imagery Survey entails and what should be included in an Satellite Imagery survey requirement specification.

The guide covers the basic principles of satellite systems and how they work, the processing of the satellite imagery and typical outputs, and the applications and accuracies that can be expected from these surveys. It then continues to discuss the essential information that a client should consider when commissioning a Satellite Imagery survey.
